SUBJECT: 2027 Maritime Division Operating and CIP Budgets Briefing
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this briefing is to discuss with the Commission the proposed 2027 operating
budgets and the 5-year capital improvement plans for the Maritime and Economic Development
Divisions. Staff would like to seek Commission feedback on the preliminary budgets.
This is one of a series of budget briefings to the Commission starting from June. Staff will discuss
the three operating divisions' operating and capital budgets on October 13, 2026 and 2027 Tax
Levy and Draft Plan of Finance on October 27, 2026, prior to the formal Commission reviews and
approvals of the 2027 budget in November.
