COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
July 9, 2026
The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting per RCW 42.30.080 on July 9, 2026.
The meeting was held at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport - Conference Center, International
Room, located at 17801 International Blvd, Seattle WA, Mezzanine Level. All Commissioners were in
attendance.
I.

CALL to ORDER

The meeting was convened at 4:00 p.m. by Commission President Calkins for the purpose of hearing
public comments regarding the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Sustainable Airport Master
Plan (SAMP) Near-Term Projects (NTP) Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS).
II.

ITEMS OF BUSINESS

The meeting recessed at 4:05 p.m. in order to give the attending public and Commissioners the
ability to view informational boards and a video regarding the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA)
Sustainable Airport Master Plan (SAMP) Near-Term Projects (NTP) Draft Environmental Impact
Statement (DEIS); and as well for staff to be available to answer any questions from the public.
Two court reporters were in attendance to capture SEPA comments entered for the record.
(The meeting recessed at 4:05 p.m. and reconvened at 4:20 p.m.)
Upon reconvening, members of the public who signed up to speak provided their comment for the
