COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING
January 13, 2026
The Port of Seattle Commission met in a special meeting per RCW 42.30.080 on January 13, 2026.
The meeting was held at the Port of Seattle Headquarters Building Commission Chambers, located
at 2711 Alaskan Way, Seattle, Washington. All Commissioners were in attendance.
1. CALL to ORDER
The meeting was convened at 9:30 a.m. by Commissioner Toshiko Hasegawa for the purpose of
holding an organizational planning session regarding 2026 Commission committees and boards.
2. ITEM OF BUSINESS
Members of the Commission discussed the recommended committee assignments.
Commissioner Mohamed indicated her desire to rotate off of the Audit Committee. Commissioner
Calkins offered to serve on the Audit Committee if Commissioner Mohamed would instead serve on
the Portwide Arts and Culture Board.
Commissioner Felleman indicated his desire to remain on the SEAC Committee. Commissioner Cho
offered to forego service on the committee so that Commissioner Felleman could remain.
Commissioner Felleman indicated his desire to remain one of the two designated tribal liaisons for
the Commission. Commissioner Hasegawa also indicated her interest in serving as a liaison.
Commissioners reviewed the external committee/board assignment recommendations.
Chief of Staff Aaron Pritchard offered to serve as the Port’s ex-office member to the Maritime Blue
Board.

The meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
