Fly Quiet Award Program
• Implemented in 2002 as a component of the Part 150 Study update.
• Developed to increase airline awareness of aircraft noise impacts on local
communities.
• Evaluates flight procedures and noise levels of aircraft operating at SEA
recognizing the two airlines with best record of achievement.
• A third award is given to an airline that showed significant improvement or
lessened their noise impact over the course of the year at SEA.
