increase the total costs not to exceed from $1,000,000 to
$2,000,000 for additional environmental remediation liability
(ERL) funding for upland disposal of additional contaminated
sediment from the T18 Maintenance Dredging Project, Master
Identification No. N10746.

Background
Sediment testing in 2025 showed all dredged material for the
project as unsuitable for open water disposal and must be
disposed at an approved upland facility.
Initial construction estimates anticipated 3,600 CY of material.
Final design revised the volume to 6,000 CY.
Additional ERL funding is required for the additional 2,400 CY
of material.

Project Objectives
Dredge an additional 2,600 CY of material unsuitable material
for open water disposal.
Dispose of all material at an approved upland facility.
Place 9” of clean sand cover over the dredged areas as
required by regulatory agencies.
