Action Requested
• Complete project design and prepare construction bid documents;
• Advertise, award, and execute a major works construction contract;
• Execute related project change orders, amendments, work authorizations, purchases, contracts, and
take other actions necessary to support and deliver the Compactor Capacity project within the
approved budget
• Utilize Port of Seattle crews, and small and major works on-call contracts, to support design and
construction activities.
• Request to authorize $3,900,000.
– Estimated total project cost not to exceed $4,500,000.
