Window Cleaning Overview
1. Locations included in Airport wide window cleaning services:
- All Exterior and Interior Windows and Skylights of All Concourses and Main
Terminal
- Airport Office Building
- All Outlying Buildings at the airport
2. Frequency of Services:
- One (1) to four (4) Cleaning Cycles per year based on demands and visibility to
traveling passengers
3. Contract value $6M for 5 years

Summary of Requests
1. Increase Commission Contracting Authority value of the existing
service by $2,000,000 to complete the initial 5-year contract from
$3M to $5M to clean the current 630,000sqft of windows at the
airport.
2. Procure a new up-to 5-years contract starting in March 2025 for an
estimated cost of $7,000,000 to include new facilities coming
underway.

Justification
1. Fulfill the contract obligation to the current small minority business
enterprise.
2. Procure market value Window Cleaning Service contract through a
competitive process for the next 5 years.
3. Aviation division’s cleanliness efforts improve the overall customer
experience.
4. New procurement based on current schedule and frequency, and
contracting model used while adjusting the contracting authority to better
align with actual costs experienced.
5. Aid the Airport in meeting Customer Experience Standards, and Women-
and Minority- Business Enterprise (WMBE) aspirational goals.

Scope of Work
1. Increase contracting authority to fulfill the remaining work to support until
February 2025.
2. Advertise, award, and execute five-year Airport-Wide Window Cleaning service
contract through a competitive process in Q3 2024 and begin a new service in
March 2025.
3. New facilities, North Main Terminal Renovation, Concourse A Building Expansion,
Concourse C expansion, Fire Station, and South Satellite Evolution Renovation,
will be added to the scope as they become online in the next few years.
4. 35% Women- and Minority- Business Enterprise (WMBE) aspirational goals for
contracted work.
5. Incorporating Labor Harmony language into the RFP for the service contract.
