Background
• Updated standards for Communication Room security adopted
in 2018.
• Project scope is based on a 2018 internal audit driven by Port
Internal Audit department and the audit’s findings.
• This project addresses communication rooms that are pre-
2018 standard and brings them up to current Port standards.

• Installation of infrastructure equipment, access
control devices, and surveillance equipment.
• Connection to current STIA Access Control
System and surveillance system.
• Set-up and removal of barricades for securing
the rooms during construction.
