2024 Airfield Projects Contract 2
• Request Commission authorization for the Executive Director to
– advertise and execute a construction contract for 2024 Airfield Projects–Contract 2;
– transfer budget/authorization, as necessary, between the 2024 Airfield Projects;
– procure long lead items;
– include a Project Labor Agreement for the contract; and
– authorize use of Port crews for abatement work.
• The amount of this authorization request: $13,074,500

2024 Airfield Projects Contract 2
This construction contract is comprised of two Capital Improvement
Projects (CIP) with overlapping work areas and design functionality,
interdependent operational impacts, and share 2024 schedule milestones.
This construction contract is not federally funded.

• N14 WB and N15 NB Common Use Gates (C801333).
• WMBE Goal – 14%.

2021-25 Airfield Pavement and Supporting
Infrastructure Replacement Program (CIP C800930)
• Purpose
– Replaces distressed airfield pavement, joint sealant,
related and supporting infrastructure at the Airport to
provide safe and efficient conditions for aircraft
operations and meet FAA requirements.
• 2024 scope (Contract 2)
– Pavement and IWS drainage work at Taxilane W and
Concourse A/N aprons.
– Fire hydrant vault cover replacements at N
Concourse.
– Distressed pavement replacement on Taxiway B,
Taxiway C, and N Concourse Taxilane.

N14 WB and N15 NB Common Use Gates (CIP C801333)
• Purpose
– Limited number of Wide-Body (WB) gates at
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
– Upcoming planned construction projects will
require relocated WB operations.
• 2024 Scope
– Modifies Gate N14 to be used for WB aircraft
operations including international departures.
– Adding starboard fuel hydrant pit (FHP) at
Gate N16 to provide necessary WB scheduling
flexibility.
