A RESOLUTION
of the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle

specifying the dollar and percentage change in the
5
regular property levy from the previous year per
6
RCW 84.55.120; providing for an increase of the
7
levy from $
81,036,634
to
$
82,657,367.

WHEREAS,
the Port of Seattle in the Commission has met and considered its
10
budget for the calendar year 2023; and
11
12
WHEREAS,
the Port of Seattle's Commission, after hearing and duly considering all
13
relevant evidence and testimony presented in a public hearing held pursuant to RCW
14
84.55.120, has determined the Port of Seattle requires a regular levy in the amount of
15
$
82,657,367, which represents the levy rate of approximately $0.095 per thousand of assessed
16
value; and

WHEREAS,
the levy amount includes an increase in property tax revenue from the
19
previous year to discharge the expenses and obligations of the district in its best interest.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
by the Port Commission of the Port of
22
Seattle that a property tax levy is hereby authorized in the amount of $82,657,367, an increase
23
of $1,620,733, a 2.0 percent increase from 2022. Excluding the new construction and refund
24
amount, the increase is $317,492 or 0.4 percent from 2022 for tax filing purposes.

ADOPTED by the Port Commission of the Port of Seattle at a duly noticed meeting held 27
