Risks
Risk Probability Impact Mitigation
Unknown and unpredictable market conditions
for Design Bid Build
GC/CM will allow us to more accurately identify
those costs and price drivers as the remainder of
the design and phasing is completed with the
contractor input
GC/CM project delivery method is new for
Baggage projects – High learning curve
Hiring a CM firm to guide and assist the Port
Operational impacts to Airlines
Hiring ATR specifically for the project to assist in
decisions and communication
Unpredictable material and supply chain recovery
COVID-19 recovery is unpredictable, the team will
continue to monitor the risk
Unpredictable inflation rates
Estimators are continuously monitoring inflation
and adjusting
Baggage design is at 70% - traditionally GC/CM is
done on projects at 30%
Utilize Contractor to assist in the construction
sequencing of the project
Current budget assuming a $20M savings in Ph 2 Continue to monitor Ph 2 budget
