In recognition of the prolonged impact of the pandemic on the on-demand taxi and flat rate for-17
hire service, the Commission finds that it is necessary to extend the two-year pilot program 18
created in 2019 for one year. The extension to September 30, 2022, assures stability in airport 19
operating conditions, will avoid unnecessary disruption, and allows for more time to analyze the 20
outcomes of the program. 21

The Port Commission hereby directs the Executive Director to extend the on-demand taxi and 25
flat-rate for-hire service pilot program at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, as described in 26
Motion 2019-03, until September 30, 2022. 27
