Greater Seattle Partners Executive Council
- GSP was founded as a public-private sector initiative to establish a leading regional economic
development organization in the greater Seattle region.
- Meets twice yearly.
- GSP may seek appointment of another Commissioner to regular board that meets six times a
year.

Sound Transit Elected Leadership Group
- Comprised of Sound Transit Board members and other local elected officials in the corridor. The
purpose of this ELG is to build consensus around key decisions and work through project issues
as needed. Amongst other duties, the ELG will appoint Stakeholder Advisory Group members
and identify a preferred alternative for recommendation to the Sound Transit Board .

Industrial & Maritime Citywide Advisory Group

- Mayor Durkan convened the industrial land stakeholder group to guide development of

Bellevue Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Member
- Appoint CEO, approve budget, policies, and objectives. Two-year term.

Washington Alliance for Better Schools Board Member
- WABS helps member districts share resources, expertise and technical assistance
- The Board convenes only once a quarter for a two-hour meeting and one half-day board retreat
in the summer.

Washington State China Relations Council
- The leading statewide organization dedicated to strengthening commercial, educational, and
cultural ties with the People’s Republic of China. Port is a founding member in 1979. Board
meetings are quarterly. Bowman has agreed to serve on the board; she'll be voted in at the Feb
2018 meeting (doesn't attend); and attend subsequent meetings

Washington Council on International Trade (WCIT)
- WCIT advocates on federal trade policy issues on behalf of Washington state employers.

King County Regional Census Committee
- To raise awareness of the importance of the Census and to ensure a complete and accurate
count of all our residents.

Transportation Policy Board (PSRC)
- Includes representatives of the PSRC’s member jurisdictions and regional business, labor, civic
and environmental groups.
- Meets monthly to advise the Executive Board on key transportation issues

Economic Development District Board (PSRC)
- The regional Economic Development Board is the federally designated economic development
district for the central Puget Sound region covering King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties.
Meets quarterly, beginning in March, on the first Wednesday of the month from 1-3 p.m

Soundside Alliance
- The Soundside Alliance is made up of elected officials and representatives from each of the
partner jurisdictions. The mission of the Soundside Alliance partners is to work together to

Joint Advisory Committee (SeaTac)
- Comprised of 3 City Councilmembers and 2 Port Commissioners, the JAC provides policy
direction regarding the Interlocal Agreement (ILA), including review and recommendation for all
major amendments to the ILA prior to Council/Commission action. Discusses current issues,
topics and proposals involving and affecting the Airport and the City

WPPA Board of Trustees
- Spring and Fall meetings provide the trustee with a chance to represent the port and at the fall
meeting take a vote on the WPPA legislative agenda for the upcoming session. Authorizes six-

board.

Highline Forum
- The Highline Forum provides Southwest King County municipalities, educational governing
bodies and the Port of Seattle with the opportunity to share information. Two co-chairs an
elected representative from the Port (Port Co-chair) and an elected Community Co-chair. One
elected representative (Port Commissioner) and one senior administrator (Airport Managing
Director) serve as the primary members on the Forum. Designated alternates.

King County Cities Climate Collaborative
- King County and seventeen partners collaborating through the King County-Cities Climate
Collaboration (K4C) to coordinate and enhance the effectiveness of local government climate

Puget Sound Partnership Ecosystem Coordination Board
- The Ecosystem Coordination Board's main role is to advise the Puget Sound Partnership’s
Leadership Council on carrying out its responsibilities. The Board is made up of 27 members
representing specific interests around the Sound.

Puget Sound Regional Council Executive Board (PSRC)
- Executive Board members are appointed by their General Assembly constituents to represent
the member governments. The board is chaired by PSRC’s president, meets monthly and carries
out delegated powers and responsibilities between meetings of the General Assembly.
