2020 Airfield Pavement Replacement Projects

Scope
The 2020 projects are comprised of the following 6 Work Areas:
•

Area 1: Reconstruction of the Asphalt Concrete Pavement (ACP) at Cargo 2 east laydown area.

•

Area 2: Reconstruction of the Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) and ACP at the Vehicle
Service Road, Cargo 2, Cargo 3, and Industrial Waste System utility upgrade.

•

Area 3: Reconstruction of the ACP at North Satellite taxilane shoulder and the apron south of the
Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting station.

•

Area 4: Reconstruction of the PCCP at Taxilane W and Taxiway B at the north entrance to the South
Satellite.

•

Area 5: Reconstruction of the PCCP at Taxilane W and Taxiway B at the south entrance to the South
Satellite.

•

Area 6: Replacement of individual PCCP (w/ Quick-Set Panels) and Joint seal on Taxiway B.

Project Risks
• There are a limited the number of gate closures available
airport-wide for construction.
• Gate opening delays on other airport projects could delay the
start of portions of the 2020 Airfield Pavement Replacement
Project work.
