SUBJECT: Preliminary 2020 Maritime and Economic Development Capital and Funding Briefing
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this briefing is to provide the Commission an overview of the Maritime and
Economic Development Division capital plan/CIP funding review and analysis for projects
approved in 2018 for the 2019 budget, as well as progress and status.
This is one of a series of business plan and budget briefings to the Commission starting from
June prior to the formal Commission reviews and approvals of the 2020 budget from
September to November.
The 2020 preliminary Capital Plan briefing will provide background on key projects and funding;
identify the major challenges facing delivery of the plan; and discuss strategies and process
improvements to address these challenges.
