SUBJECT: Ground Transportation Policy Directive Adoption
ACTION REQUESTED
Request Adoption of Resolution No. 3759: a resolution of the Port of Seattle Commission
creating a Seattle-Tacoma International Airport ground transportation policy directive,
including principles, goals, monitoring, and reporting, and affirming airport commute-tripreduction goals for the port.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Resolution No. 3759 was introduced on May 28, 2019, and passed unanimously without
amendments. This is the second vote and final adoption of the resolution establishing the
Ground Transportation Policy Directive.
This policy directive establishes guidance on ground transportation at the Seattle-Tacoma
International Airport (Sea-Tac) including principles, goals, monitoring, and reporting; creates an
Annual Ground Transportation Progress Report; affirms airport commute-trip-reduction (CTR)
goals; and establishes a transportation management association.
