Request:

• Prepare design and construction bid documents
• Advertise and award construction contract
• Utilize Port Construction Services to perform work

Background: • Airport has no backup water supply for potable use/fire protection

• Airport's 2 million-gallon reservoir can supply water for 3 days
• If a water outage from Seattle Public Utilities is extended beyond 3
days, airport operations would be severely restricted.
• This project will develop the Tyee Golf Course Well into an emergency
backup water supply for potable use and fire protection.
