SUBJECT: 2019 Central Services Capital Budget Briefing
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of this briefing is to discuss with the Commission the 2019 preliminary capital
budget for Central Services. This was part of the 2019 Central Services Preliminary Budgets
briefing on September 25 but the capital budget section of the briefing was postponed.
This is one of a series of business plan and budget briefings to the commission starting from
May. Staff also plans to discuss the three operating division operating and capital budgets on
October 9, 2018, and the Tax Levy and Draft Plan of Finance on October 23, 2018, prior to the
formal commission reviews and approvals of the 2019 budget in November.
