SEATTLE - A quorum of the Port of Seattle Commission will travel to
Spokane and Pullman, Washington, on Tuesday, August 7, and
Wednesday, August 8, 2018. The Commission will hold a series of
meetings with community and legislative leaders and representatives of
the Spokane International Airport, Greater Spokane Incorporated, and
Washington State University. No final actions (i.e., votes) will be taken
during these meetings.

Airport Board to discuss air service connectivity between the two facilities,

around Spokane International Airport, and policy issues of shared interest
before the Legislature and Congress.

Study session on health sciences education, STEM education and CareerConnected Learning, rural economic development, cyber security
resiliency, and deployment of rural broadband infrastructure.

This meeting will feature WSU, GSI, the Association of Washington
Business, Schweitzer Energy Labs, and the Port of Whitman County.

director of the Aviation Sustainability Center and the associate director of
the Agriculture Research Center.

2:00 p.m.

Tour of the McGregor Company and conversation on rural economic
development with Alex McGregor, chairman of the board.
