RE: Requesting you and the Seattle Port Commissioners help
in
asking President Trump to "Make Fast
Track Completion
of
President Franklin D Roosevelt's Columbia Basin Project by 2022", his first
National Bipartisan Project
of
his administration.
Ms. Gregoire,
You and the Board
of
Seattle Port Commissioners have the opportunity to continue to being one
of
the leading forces
of
Pacific Northwest. I
am
asking you to lead a Washington State Coalition to 1600
Pennsylvania Ave NW, requesting President Trump
in
"Fast Track Completion
of
the Columbia Basin,
Snake River, Yakima Basin, and Expansion
of
WA Ports projects by 2022".
This
is
the largest Public Works Project
of
President Franklin D Roosevelt's administration sitting
on the "shelf
of
history" waiting to be completed. Grand Coulee Dam: A Man Made

After many years
of
promoting this project to three presidents and three Washington governors,
it
is
regrettably my opinion that partisan politics from all parties has been undermining its completion for
decades and
it
is
currently being undermined today. With the voter's mandate ofreaching across the aisle,
this
is
the perfect time to demonstrate to voters that you are more interested
in
their welfare than party
politics.
Within the last ten days Washington State Agriculture Chairman Representative Brian Blake,
Minority Chairwoman Senator Judy Warnick, and also Representative Tom Dent have jointly agreed to
redraft and reintroduce " 2009 Bipartisan Legislation" supplanting Governor Gregoire's and President
Obama joint Executive Orders for these projects by replacing President Trump's and Governor Ins lee's
names and introducing
it
into the 2019 legislative session!
Since the beginning
of
2018, "Bipartisan Letters
of
Support" have been drafted by the Grant
County Commissioners, Grant County PUD, Eastern
WA
Council
of
Governments, and other government
entities.
In
addition
...
Representatives Brian, Judy and Tom have agreed
to
draft a "Joint Bipartisan
Letter"
in
support
of
these projects prior to 2019 session.
President Gregoire, would you and the Seattle Port Commissioners consider initiating a State
Regional Bipartisan Conference
in
June
of
2018,
in
Seattle, to assist bringing this infrastructure and
jobs
project to improve Washington State's economy and jobs for the next century?
