Long Range Plan Scope
Develop a Long Range Plan for the period of
2018 – 2022, which provides the tools needed
to implement the strategies and objectives for
the Century Agenda and High Performance
Organization
The Long Range Plan operationalizes the Century Agenda

Long Range Plan Goals
• Integrate and optimize Port efforts and outcomes across business lines & functions
• Provide input to 2018 Budgeting efforts for expense and capital planning
• Develop and enhance partnerships in support of the Century Agenda and
implementation of the Century Agenda strategies and objectives
– Provide baselines which allow for clear tracking of progress toward Century Agenda
– Develop metrics to effectively track and report on progress
– Ensure that the Long Range Plan supports best practices, and enhances the High
Performance Organization emphasizing organizational alignment and operational
excellence
Achieve Century Agenda objectives with strong management rigor
