SUBJECT:

Resolution No. 3654, adopting the final budget of the Port of Seattle for
the Year 2012; making, determining, and deciding the amount of taxes to be
levied upon the current assessment roll; and directing the King County
Council as to the specific sums to be levied on all of the assessed property of
the Port of Seattle District in the Year 2012.

First Reading.
Public Hearing.
REQUESTED ACTION:

First Reading of Resolution No. 3654.
The Port is preparing the 2012 budget. The process includes publishing budget guidelines,
executive review, Commission review, a public hearing, and the preparation of the budget
document.
Staff recommends the following Final Budget process:
November 8, 2011 - First Reading of Resolution No. 3654 and Public Hearing.
November 22, 2011 - Second Reading and Final Passage of Resolution No. 3654.
December 1, 2011 - Submittal of the 2012 Final Budget to the King County Council.
December 14 - Release of the 2012 Final Budget and Draft Plan of Finance to the public
