SUBJECT: Briefing on Port Liability Insurance Renewal for 2011-2012
SYNOPSIS:
This discussion precedes the renewal of the Port’s liability insurance program on October 1,
2011. It discusses the expiring program and costs and the issues facing the Port for the renewal.
Major coverage lines will be highlighted for the Port. Commission authorization is not required
as the delegation to purchase insurance is given to the Chief Executive Officer under Resolution
3605, as amended.
