Agreement with Airline Consortium
• Airport leases vehicles and chargers to airline
consortium
• Airline consortium in turn, lease vehicles and
charger to airlines for two successive 10 year
periods
• Airline arranges for all necessary maintenance,
electrical billing, and payments to the Port
• Airlines operate the vehicles and make
necessary payments to the Airline consortium.

• Airlines reduce fleet maintenance costs
• Projected annual Airline savings of $ 2.8 million

• Project will reduce petroleum use by 1 million
gallons/year if full participation
- Equivalent of removing 1,700 cars from the roads

• CO2 reduction of 10,000 tons per year if full
participation
• Reduces criteria air pollutants
• Protects air quality; may benefit future
airport/airline growth
• Potential eligibility for emission reduction credits
