SUBJECT: Resolution No. 3631 and 3632, adopting the final budget of the
Port of Seattle for the Year 2010 and to direct the King County
Council as to the specific sums to be levied on all of the assessed
property of the Port of Seattle District in the Year 2010, and
authorizing an increase in limit factor for maximum levy capacity
pursuant to RCW 85.55.0101.
1) First Reading.
2) Public Hearing.
The Port is preparing the 2010 budget. The process includes publishing budget guidelines,
Executive review, Commission review, public comment, and the preparation of the budget
document.
Staff recommends the following Final Budget process:
November 10, 2009 – First Reading of Resolution No. 3631 and 3632 and Public Hearing.
November 24, 2009 – Second Reading and Final Passage of Resolution No. 3631 and 3632.
December 1, 2009 – Submittal of the Final 2010 Budget to the King County Council.
