SUBJECT: Past Environmental Clean up costs
BACKGROUND
The Port of Seattle has accomplished significant environmental clean up over the last 20 years.
This briefing will give an overview of funds spent between 1991 and 2009 on environmental
clean-up at the seaport. In addition, staff will review efforts to recover the costs of this work
through grants, insurance and other responsible parties.
