BACKGROUND
Recently, a number of awards have been presented to Port staff. At today’s meeting, recognition
will be given to recipients of the following awards:
• American Institute of Architects Washington Council Civic Design Merit Award for the
Shilshole Bay Marina Project
• Associated General Contractors 2009 Build Washington Award for the Berth M
Reconstruction Project at Terminal 91
• Government Finance Officers Association Distinguished Budget Presentation Award
• Government Finance Officers Association Excellence in Financial Reporting Award
• Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International – Recognition for
Environmental Sustainability Initiatives and Fiscal Stewardship at Seattle-Tacoma
